The March meeting of Lockwood Parish Council will now take place on Wednesday 15th March 2017 instead of the originally scheduled date of Thursday 16th March. This is to accomodate a presentation from Sirius Minerals on the York Potash Project which will commence at 6.30pm on the Wednesday evening. The full council meeting will commence after the presentation at 7.00pm.

Clerk & Responsible Financial Officer to Lockwood Parish Council
Applications are invited from suitably experienced persons for the part-time post of Parish Warden. The hours of work are 18 hours per week to be worked over 3 days between Monday to Friday. Some occasional weekend work may be required.
Acting as the Parish Council's Warden, the successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the Council's five allotment sites around the parish, so experience in grounds maintenance is essential. Other duties will include minor repairs and maintenance of the grounds of Lingdale Village Hall and the Parish Council Compound, maintaining the Parish Council's dog glove dispenser network to assist dog fouling in the parish and updating the Parish Council's village noticeboards. The Parish Warden must have the desire to make a significant contribution by way of supporting elected council members to improve the parish and its local community.
As from Monday 8th August 2016 Lockwood Parish Council will be based in Lingdale Village Hall.

The accounts have now been approved by the full council and have also been audited by our internal auditor. The accounts have not yet been audited by our external auditor and so are subject to change.
