You need to register before you can vote in UK elections, including the general election that will take place on Thursday 7 May 2015. We would strongly encourage everyone to register as soon as possible. The different ways you can register to vote are listed below.
Visit the UK Government website to fill in a simple online form:

The Election Team at Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council are hosting an Awareness Raising session for anyone thinking of standing as a Parish Councillor, but not quite sure what it entails.
This will be held on Wednesday 11 March at 11.00 am at Redcar and Cleveland Leisure and Community Heart, Ridley Street, Redcar. The session will last approximately one hour.
